A Halloween community event in Hallandale Beach brought out 200 residents who shared their vision for 8th Avenue’s future. The street survey revealed strong public support for safety improvements, with 74% backing traffic calming measures. Top priorities include better pedestrian crossings, improved lighting, and safer speeds. The survey data will guide street improvements to create a more walkable, bikeable Hallandale Beach.
