On Halloween night, when pedestrian activity peaks, the risks are even higher. A car traveling at 20 mph can stop in time for a child crossing the road, while one at 40 mph could be fatal. This Halloween, remember that slowing down isn’t just about following rules—it’s about preserving the spirit of community and keeping our neighborhoods safe for all.
